MG ZS EV 2022 launched in Nepal with new updated interior and exterior

MG motors, a well-known Indian automobile manufacturer, has released the new MG ZS EV in Nepal. And finally, Paramount Motors Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor for MG automobiles, has launched the most anticipated ZS EV in Nepal. Similarly, they have unveiled the price in a formal press event held on 27th February 2022 in its Naxal showroom. Meanwhile, this electric SUV comes in two versions: Standard Range and Long Range. Design

The new ZS EV now looks more like an EV than before with a new front. Similarly, the front grille is replaced by a conventional EV-type grille. Performance

A Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) powers the ZS EV 2022. It has a maximum power output of 130KW and a maximum torque output of 280 Nm. Similarly, it takes 8.5 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour. There are two battery options for the facelift version: 51kWh and 73kWh. Meanwhile, it is available in two versions: Standard Range and Long Range.

The EV powered by the 51kWh battery takes eight hours to charge via a 7kW charger. Similarly, it takes 54 minutes and 36 minutes to charge via a 50kW and 100kW charger, respectively. On a single charge, the EV has a range of 319 kilometers.

Likewise, the ZS EV long range with a 73kWh battery normally takes 10.5 hours to charge via a 7kW charger. Meanwhile, the 50kW and 100kW fast chargers take 1 hour 3 minutes, and 42 minutes to charge from 0 to 80 percent, respectively. Furthermore, the long-range EV has a range of 440 kilometers on a full charge. It is also able to rival the Kona which comes with similar performance and range.

The new MG ZS EV 2022 comes with a rotary-dial gear knob, driving mode, and braking regeneration. It also has blind-spot monitoring, a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and mobile wireless charging. The extensive range of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) with automatic emergency braking, grouped under the name MG Pilot, contributes to the MG ZS EV 2022’s high level of safety.
