(STC) is an integral part of Jyoti Group, which became the sole authorized distributor of Honda Motorcycles and Scooters, Honda, Cars, and Honda Power Products in Nepal. The Syakar Company was established in 1976 and evolved into Syakar Trading Company Pvt. Ltd. on June 7, 2011 (Jestha 24, 2068 B.S).
Syakar Trading Company has remained committed to delivering the highest quality motorcycles and scooters to the Nepali populace. They first started with the import of 11 units and have grown exponentially, with the company now importing nearly 60,000 Honda Motorcycles & Scooters annually. Syakar Trading has established over 70 Honda 2-wheeler outlets across Nepal, catering to the demands of an ever-expanding customer base.
Syakar Trading ventured into the 4-wheeler business in 2002 A.D. The inauguration of the first Honda Cars showroom in Dhobighat on April 20, 2002, marked the beginning of this journey. With dedication and a commitment to quality, the company has since added eight more Honda Car Showrooms across Nepal, ensuring its customers’ availability of top-notch products.
On March 23, 2010, the company unveiled the ‘Syakar Safety Riding Training Centre,’ a pioneering institution covering an expansive 10,200 sq.m area in Gwarko, Lalitpur. Aligned with Honda Motors Japan’s training standards, this motorcycle training institute boasts skilled male and female Safety Riding Instructors and a comprehensive collection of safety gear.
